Blinn College with campuses located throughout Bryan, Texas is one of the leaders in providing CNA training programs to those interested in health care careers. The nurse assistant program at Blinn College is offered through the Office of Workforce Education, department of Allied Health. The main goal of the program is to prepare CNA students for entry-level jobs as certified nurse aides. The CNA program not only meets the state required 75 hours of instruction but goes well beyond that by offering 104 hours of clinical, classroom, and laboratory experiences. At the end of this program you will be ready to work as nurse aide not only in long-term care facilities and nursing homes, but also in home health, hospitals and doctor's offices. The classroom instruction as well as laboratory practice are conducted on the college campus while clinical experiences occur at various long-term care facilities in the area. CNA students find it convenient to attend classes and clinical practice at close-by locations while having flexibility in choosing a college campus close to where they reside.
