Did you know that St. Philip's College (SPC) established its Vocational Nursing Program, in 1949 with twelve students which has now grown to a current enrollment of about two hundred students on two campuses: St. Philip's College Martin Luther King (MLK) campus and Seguin extension campus? St. Philip's College also started an Associate Degree Nursing Mobility (ADN) Program in 1998. The LVN to ADN Mobility program offers a fast way for qualified LVN to become Registered Nurses in only three semesters. The LVN program on the other hand takes one year to complete and prepares graduates to become entry-level licensed Vocational Nurses. Upon graduation, students have to pass the NCLEX-PN examination to obtain their LVN licenses. Graduates of St. Philip's Nursing programs are highly sought after by employers in the greater Bexar County and Seguin - New Braunfels areas.
