Texas Christian University Harris School of Nursing
2800 West Bowie Street, Fort Worth, TX 76109

Several routes for obtaining a nursing degree are available at Texas Christian University. Those who already posses a four year degree in a field other than nursing can pursue the Accelerated BSN Track and obtain a nursing degree over four consecutive semesters (15 months of study). The University also accepts transfer nursing students as well as traditional freshman students interested in pursuing a nursing program. The number of transfer students admitted each semester depends on the qualifications of the applicant such as having a minimum GPA of 2.5 and passing nursing courses with a grade of C or higher. Freshman students will complete general education courses first followed by nursing prerequisites after which nursing courses can be completed. All nursing students must maintain a GPA of at least 2.5 to remain enrolled into the nursing program at TCU.
